Capturing these little kid expressions

July 11, 2022 memoFolio

We all know how children are. They say the darndest things, and you’ll be laughing so hard your sides will hurt! But it’s not just their words that leave an impression on us; they express themselves in such unique ways- with slip or poorly worded phrases making them memorable for life even if we don’t remember what was said at first glance (or maybe after lunch).

As a parent, it is your job to ensure that these phrases do not get lost. Even if they seem memorable and funny at first glance, they remain a beautiful memory that, over time, gets forgotten.

We should keep a note of them with a date. Yes, again with a date! When going through your timeline, they make all the difference.

From my memory, I remember when I heard my young daughter ask for a “bagana” (instead of a banana) and when on vacation, saying: “mommy is drinking her pina canada”. So funny, it remains a running gag!

The application memoFolio allows you to enter these childish sentences inside a memory as an extension, which become content highlighted in the memory view profile. These are also part of an appendix generated at the end of your book.

No matter if you use the application or you do it on your own on paper, these expressions will add a little smile and love to your text, just like they did in real life when you heard them.

About Sylvain Latulippe

Collector of moments and not things, no wonder that I have a passion for photography. Being the oldest in the family and a father of 2 daughters, I realized quickly how much time passed by and how quickly our memories fades. I started the memoFolio project as a tool to bring together all these memories. And from the most impacting one, help people write THEIR story to leave a trace of life experiences to their future generations.
